5. Riding: Rider position and body control will either hinder or allow the horse to be his best.

  • A. Connection, balanced, centered riding. Rider will understand how to “sit” in the saddle, what to do with legs, hips, shoulders and hands
  • B. Rotation of rider’s body and how to collect the horse, turning the horse and more using rider position.
  • Books/DVD by Sally Swift or Peggy Cummings.  The more balanced you are in the saddle, the more connected you are to your horse, the better the ride will be and the more comfortable both you and your horse will be.
